Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the DottieTodo mobile application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DottieTodo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. License Grant

DottieTodo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

3. App Features

DottieTodo provides the following features:

  • Create and manage tasks and todo items
  • Organize tasks into projects and lists
  • Set due dates and times for tasks
  • Focus mode for single-task focus
  • Track completion statistics and streaks
  • Optional Apple Calendar integration

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
  • Not use the app for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
  • Maintain the security of your device and Apple ID
  • Take responsibility for backing up your data via iCloud or iTunes

5. Data and Backup

DottieTodo stores all data locally on your device using SwiftData. You are solely responsible for backing up your data to prevent loss. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud Backup or regularly backing up your device through iTunes/Finder to protect your task data.

We are not responsible for any data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or failure to maintain proper backups.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

DottieTodo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.

While we strive to provide a reliable app, we make no representations about the accuracy or reliability of the app's content or functionality.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DottieTodo and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the app from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for any breach of these Terms.

11. Apple App Store Terms

This app is made available through the Apple App Store. By using the app, you also agree to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Terms, the Apple Terms shall apply as they relate to your use of the app through the App Store.
